Dollar Bill Origami Scorpion By Nano
Nano has to be one of our favorite folders without doubt. We have already written a review on him however we just cant stay away from his
site here and marvel at his obvious wit, talented folds and amazing dedication to Orikane. His dollar bill origami scorpion made from 3 dollar bills is one of our favorites. The scorpion is always a popular fold and there are many different versions, but this one is by far one of the best ones we have seen. Think you can do better? send them in to gallery@orikane.com

Breaking News Re register for Training (still free)
Hi all, most of you should have received our email by now but due to the overwhelming response we are having, we have been forced to use a new email system.
So what does this mean?
Well firstly it means we do not have to email you all individually and spend hours doing it (Yey)

Dollar Bill Artist Won Park Under Spot Light
Won Park is one of our favorite folders and inspirations in Dollar bill origami. Won's folds are simply superb and beautiful, the detailed and creative models he produces are just fantastic and ones that many try to replicate world over.
Won resides in Hawaii and been folding for over 32 years so certainly some one you should follow.
Q: years practicing
A: I have been practicing Origami for 32 years. I was introduced to the art of Origami from my mother when I was 5 years old. Since then folding paper has been one of my great passions. I first started folding dollars bills in High school. That was when I found that the dollar bill was an ideal medium to fold.
Q; Favorite Fold Influences
A: My mother, Isao Honda, John Montroll, Robert Lang, Akira Yoshizawa, Peter Engel, and, Kunihiko Kasahara,
Q: Ethos
A: Anyone can fold a piece of paper, but it take patience and perseverance to make it come to life.
Q: Location
A: I am currently living in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Q: Message To Beginners
A: It's very important to learn the basics. It might be boring at first but you will thank your self later for learning all the symbols used in Ohttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifrigami. Fold slowly and neatly. Most of your mistakes can be fixed by folding the beginning base steps precisely.

Top Orikane Folder and Designer Won Park
Many people may not have heard of Won Park but his detailed folds and designs are simply superb. Won Park is the designer of the Dollar Bill Origami Koi above
GO and look at his fantastic portfolio, these are genius and some of the very best we have found online.
Now sadly, one of his images has been submitted from a third party claiming ownership - we wont name and shame this culprit as it the first time that this has happened, but we do want to say a big SORRY to Won Park and ask our readers to make sure all imagery they submit is their own.
