A: I have been practicing Origami for 32 years. I was introduced to the art of Origami from my mother when I was 5 years old. Since then folding paper has been one of my great passions. I first started folding dollars bills in High school. That was when I found that the dollar bill was an ideal medium to fold.
Q; Favorite Fold Influences
A: My mother, Isao Honda, John Montroll, Robert Lang, Akira Yoshizawa, Peter Engel, and, Kunihiko Kasahara,
A: Anyone can fold a piece of paper, but it take patience and perseverance to make it come to life.
A: I am currently living in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Q: Message To Beginners
A: It's very important to learn the basics. It might be boring at first but you will thank your self later for learning all the symbols used in Ohttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifrigami. Fold slowly and neatly. Most of your mistakes can be fixed by folding the beginning base steps precisely.
I hope that helps. If you have any more question, let me know and I'll be happy to answer them for you.
Make sure you visit his gallery Won also runs a fantastic group on yahoo where you can learn so many of his techniques and folds.
Won was recently a victim of copyright on THIS SITE. One of our members submitted one of Wons images as their own (hope your flattered Won). We therefore want to apologize to Won (again) and thank him for helping us to encourage others to learn. Please if you do submit imagery make sure its your own!!
